The 60-second version
What Socialpad is, in the time it takes to read a coin's edge.
Every person can have one coin, launched for their name and linked to their accounts on X, Reddit or LinkedIn (Instagram is coming). Anyone can launch it, including someone who is not that person. It takes a Solana wallet with a little SOL for rent and fees; nothing else.
The coin is a pump.fun coin: it trades on pump.fun’s bonding curve against SOL and, once the curve fills, on PumpSwap. Every trade pays pump.fun’s fee, and the creator’s part of that fee goes to a key we call the name’s vault. The vault is the coin’s creator on pump.fun, set at launch and never changed; Socialpad holds its key and moves the balance only to the person named.
The person named opens the vault by signing in with the account it was launched for (X, Reddit, GitHub, Twitch or YouTube). Socialpad checks it through that platform’s own sign-in, the owner names a wallet, and the full balance is sent there in one transaction. Socialpad pays the fees.
That is the whole product. The rest of these docs is detail.
What you need
- To launch a coin: a name, at least one account it belongs to, a Solana wallet with a little SOL.
- To trade: a Solana wallet with SOL.
- To open a vault: the account the coin was launched for, and a wallet address to receive into.
What you cannot do
- Open someone else’s vault. Only a sign-in from the account it was launched for does that.
- Change which key a coin pays. pump.fun fixes the creator at launch.
- Change the fee. pump.fun’s schedule applies to every coin on the curve and on PumpSwap.
