Launching a coin

Name a person, list their accounts, sign one transaction.

Who can launch

Anyone with a Solana wallet. You do not need an account here, and you do not need to own the handle. Launching is a gift to the name: the vault fills whether or not the owner has heard of Socialpad yet. Signing in is optional; it only records the coin under your name too.

One handle, one coin. Socialpad refuses a second coin for any account that already has one.

What you choose

The name. Up to 32 characters, engraved on the coin.

The face. Their initial, struck in the field, or a photo set into it inside the engraving. The photo is what pump.fun and wallets show for the coin.

Their accounts. At least one of X, Reddit, LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitch or YouTube. They are shown on the coin, and the first one sets its link. Instagram arrives with its own sign-in.

Fee sharing. The one account the vault opens for: one of the accounts above, or any other handle on X, Reddit, GitHub, Twitch or YouTube. Only a sign-in with that account takes the fees out; LinkedIn cannot be it, because its sign-in does not reveal a profile’s handle.

The ticker. One to six letters or digits.

There is no fee rate to choose. pump.fun’s schedule applies to every coin; see Fees, exactly.

What happens on chain

  1. You connect a wallet. It is the launcher; no sign-in is needed.
  2. Socialpad prepares the launch: a fresh mint key, the vault key derived for it, the coin’s face and metadata, and one transaction that creates the coin on pump.fun with the vault as its creator. The mint key signs its part on the server.
  3. Your wallet signs and sends it. pump.fun charges no launch fee; the transaction pays about 0.02 SOL of account rent and fees.
  4. The coin’s page is live as soon as the transaction confirms, with the mint, bonding curve and vault addresses on it.

Socialpad records the coin only after reading pump.fun’s own CreateEvent from the confirmed transaction and checking that its creator is the vault.

After launch

Share the coin’s page; if you want the first tokens, buy them there. The coin is also on pump.fun itself, at pump.fun/coin/<mint>, where it trades like any other. The handle owner can sign in at any moment, before or after the curve fills, and the vault waits for them unless it goes dormant.

Continue with the account a coin was launched for. Socialpad never sees a password; the platform's own login does the checking.

Signing in through a platform links its handle to you. That link is what opens a vault.
